The
veterinarians listed have volunteered
their help in two ways:
- A
free well-health examination is provided within 10 days
of the adoption date. This DOES NOT include the recommended
vaccinations or stool examination. If the veterinarian finds
the animal to be in poor health, your options are to either
continue treatment at your own expense, or return the animal
to the Cherryland Humane Society.
- All
animals adopted from the Cherryland Humane Society will
receive a reduced fee for spaying and neutering when completed
during the month listed on the adoption contract. Please
note that there may be an additional charge for spaying
and neutering if the animal is over 5 years old, pregnant,
obese, or has an abnormal anatomy. Please check with the
veterinarian to see if any of these may apply to your pet.
The
Veterinarian Assistance Program is provided as a courtesy
to patrons of the Cherryland Humane Society. In providing
this courtesy, the Cherryland Humane Society does not recommend
any particular veterinarian listed nor does it intend to make
any representation as to the quality of care your pet may
receive from any veterinarian participating in this program. The Cherryland Humane Society suggests that you use due care in
selecting a veterinarian for your adopted animal.
